booster/mc?

Post by rjewkes »

still having some problems with the brakes on the 72 the mc is out of the 67-72 style and the booster is out of a 77.

question is about the rod that actuates the mc on the mc side of the booster was that peice longer in 67-72? it's like i have nothing tell i get 1/2 way to the floor and then it'll throw ya through the window.

also the left rear drum is cracked. i know i also have an inbalance in the system.

Thats a good one. Sure you got all the air out? You can measure
it out, the play in the system. A simple ck. is eng. off, cover off M/C
pump pedal. Have assistant watch. Does it squirt up in the air as soon
as you hit the pedal? It should.

Front Reservior shoots it out realy high and fast like a fountain. The rear does nothing. also remembered thatb the brake pedal to mastercylinder rod is missing its bushing.

but i thought it should only account for half a millisecond in pressure aplying.

the tiny res is for the rear right? wich means the fronts atre not working right?
