Lately my steering wheel has started squeaking when I turn it. Maybe it's more of a moaning or squaking sound. I've tried spraying some lube, but to no avail. I assume there are some bearings in there that the shaft rotates on. Are these bearings the source of the noise or is there something else.

Thanks for any ideas,

While you're at it, check the condition of the cab mounts and rubber bushings.
If they go bad, the cab will settle and put excess strain and wear on the steering shaft bearings.
