C-6 floor shifter

Post by Fossil Dawg »

Does anyone know if they make a floor shifter to mate with a C-6? :? :? I am getting this trans along with a 302, radiator, fuel tank, two fuel doors with filler necks, and a floor shifter with AOD for $150.00 out of a 77' F250
I had a 4spd, now I'm going to put this auto in and I don't want to have to put all that linkage in, so I was hoping for a floor shifter, Thanks.

My '72 has a floor shift with the C6 but I have no idea what it is out of, it has a wooden knob for the top of it lol

One thing, it crowds your legs quite a bit, I'm 6' about 250, if you are much bigger it may be a PITA.

B&M mega truck shifter. Summit & Jegs has them for around $190.
Checkers also sells the B&M line. You can save the shipping. (I'm still ticked that Jegs wanted to charge me
$8 for the tranny drain plug, another $11 for "handling" and another $19 for shipping, all for a part about the size of your thumb)

Hey jor, how long ago was that? Jegs has been advertising free nationwide 1-2 day shipping for at least the last 6 months that I can confirm, (i throw out the catalogs after 6 mos) but they do still charge a handlign fee on every order. Just wondering.

The B&M unimatic is under a $100 and looks like a 4speed shifter.
