What about putting the right(van spindle) on the left(truck I beam), and visey-versey? It would make it a rear steer.

I dont think it would be upside down if you changed the ibeam it was mounted to!!! Or you could just put regular truck spindles on it and call it goo right!!!

I was making fun of myself. If you put the regular(I think you mean drum spindles) back on you dont have any way of attaching calipers. Unless you make or purchase a bracket for them. Which was the original obsticle I had. But the tie rods are in the correct locations. I think this info is correct, feel free to double check.
I've slept sense I fooled with this.

The early vans 69-74? are rear steer. I have a 69 Econoline in the shop today. They measure about 37 3/8" from center of pivot bolt to center of coil spring mount bolt.
That would mess up your steering angles.nevrenufhp wrote:What about putting the right(van spindle) on the left(truck I beam), and visey-versey? It would make it a rear steer.
