I have a 66 f250 I am changing over to 70 f250 disc.
My question is if you diconnect the front lines at the junction block under the truck can you pull lines and proportioning valve from a 70 and install the 70 lines on the 66 with out any problems?

re: brake lines
i think you can as far as thread size and length but if you are going to the disc and power i would buy new ones for a 70 with disc brakes.

you can ford a river or stream and get to the other side, if you dodge it you will not, and if you drive a chevy to the levee it will run dry and the music will die.

re: brake lines
Super easy, with the right tool, basically no different than a standard flare, except that you do it twice.
Here's something I put together when I did mine:

Look down towards the bottom of the page for the mini-tutorial.

thanks keith. i'm sure the flairing tool will more than pay for itself over the cost of prebent tubing.
