71 XLT

Post by XLT »

71 XLT was inherited to me from my dad. This Ford truck was purchased new and was the finest vehicle in town. Red and white with wood trim fancied it's elegant presence. This tough Ford truck serviced as a tool for my dad's construction company and had countless trips to the dump (many excursions which I participated upon). It survived my sister and about three major rear end collisions in which no damage occured save the reflector light. The best collision was in our driveway where a Mercedes entered as Dad backed out. Did you know the Mercedes front end collapses like an accordian.
I have saved and stored this once upon a time beauty for a long time with the hopes to have time one day to pay it's desired attention. The day has arrived. Time and neglect has done it wrong and it needs mindful heed and a few bucks. This land vessel will have a purpose besides it's apparent beauty. I have aquired a 27' San Juan sail boat and the truck is the dedicated transport for the water craft. That should be an attention grabber sailing down the highway.
Any way, this is me XLT. I am pleased to meet you all. I look forward to our exchanges. XLT
