Name's Matt, I'm from Gainesville Florida; I'm a mod' over at http://www.BroncoII.org I picked up a 1972 Ford Econoline-200 a week er' so ago that I'm gonna resto-mod into a Tow-rig/Camper for haulin' my 1972 Mustang to the shows/drag-strips... & my 1987 4x4 Bronco II to the mud/trails all over the South-eastern USA
I've always been a fan of the mid-late 60's F-100's & almost got a 68' Short-box for my tow-rig... But the Van was just too good of a deal to pass up, & it'll be pretty cool to have a 72' tow the 72' to the car shows
Don't hate because I cruise the cool Van But yea, I'll be around here lurkin' in your tech forums... & might even toss out the odd question or two. Look forwards to meetin' all you guys n' gals Later!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the whole drivetrain is the same in your van as the pick-ups. You should be able to use a lot of info here.
I'll try to get some pics of each up a.s.a.p.
Yea, I wanted to beleive that all the under-side Components between early-70's Econolines/F-series were the same, & I've already found a great deal of good info in your forums... Def' plan to get rid of those front Drum-Brakes soon haha.. it's becoming a work out to hold down the brake-pedal at a red-light haha... As it'll be used as a Tow-rig... Brakes are really my main concern/priority anyhow.. I've already got a great handle on the engines & tranny's..
Thanks to all of ya for the great I appreciate it. Great sites are ALWAY great because of their staff/members.. not their info (although good Tech's ALWAYS a plus ) Nice to see so many fellow Floridian's too! Later!

Here's a few pics of the Stang' the Van & the B-II... Enjoy!
That's my 72' Stang on the trailor a few months back when it was taken out of commission for the next 2-3 yrs as I tare it completely down & try to give er' a total Frame-up Resto-Mod. It was my daily-driver for the longest... Like an idiot as a teen I was out surfin' at the beach almost every weekend with the poor Stang parked next to the Salty ocean waves needless to say it's got some cancer that need to be totally removed.
Here's the van.. nothin' special ..Yet but give me a few months...
& my favorite toy My 4x4 Bronco II I love that lil' thing... Best Off-Road Rig I've EVER owned... Yet to find a full-size er' a heep (jeep ) that has anywhere near as good turning radius as these things do, & as you can see from my pics... BroncoII's can also do stuff (on stock suspention mind you) that most rigs couldn't/wouldn't dream of Later!
