Best Mod ever.

Post by scott »

On the sailing forums an upgrade change or improvement to your boat is referred to as a mod. Being new to a car forum I will continue to call these mods.

After many enhancements to my truck (Designed to make it as showroom stock as I can) I have mounted my new door weatherstripping and my window sweep anti-rattle kit.

This is the single largest improvement in driving comfort that I had made to date. Just changing one side reduced the wind noise hugely. Replacing both and the sweeps has quieted it down to where I don't have to crank the radio to hear talk radio.

The wind noise on the highway was horrendous, now it is barely noticeable!!

Mine's radio free. At first I thought about one...but that would interfere with the sound of my truck!!!!!

I usually say mod to refer to something being modified.Alot of people build Resto-mods meaning that they restored the vehicle, but have changed something factory to suit their tastes.

That right there seems to be a good reason to have noisy mud tires, loud exhaust, and worn out weather-stripping :D
