what year brake booster brackets can I use?
I gotta 72, and bought a 1-ton booster, and now need a bracket. Would one from a 78-79 truck fit?
A 72 F-250 Hi-Boy "project" ( that means sitting untouched for 3 or so years)
And a little 94 F-150 Flareside, 7" higher and 35's...

...and make sure your donor also is the same style of booster. Some '73-up versions are the cantalever style booster which use different brackets than the...um....non-cantalever style.

When I was at Napa both 72 and 73 1-ton boosters used the same part numbers....
All I got for a parts truck is a 78, so I'm kinda stuck with what I got, unless I can find the time to build my own ( I do have one made out of cardboard, just need some steel/drill/grinder/welder time)
Thanks!!

re: what year brake booster brackets can I use?
if you are making your own bracket, Im imprest. What I would do is just go to the auto wrecker and get a mid 70's bracket of a camper special.
Thats What I use on my 1970 F350 any way. but there is two different ones If Im not miss took, depending on if you got a single dia, or a dual dia booster, you can tell by if the booster is small and thick it dual, if it large but thin it single. I think the difference was in the leave length in the bracket.
