Help!! 1-ton booster not fitting!!

Post by waynaferd »

Yup, I bought a 72 1-ton booster for my 72 F-250......I hafta drill two holes and grind a support bracket for it to fit.

Wasn't this supposed to be bolt-on?

It's going onto a manual-brake truck.

Thanks!!

-OR-

could some one tell me how far the booster should sit from the firewall?

I got some steal kicking around and might try my hand at fabricating one....

I need one NOW!!!

Thanks!!

The brackets I have ( which i will be using. Sorry.) are 3.340 inches from firewall to booster.

Well I grabbed some cardboard and started with the templates.....

So once I cut them out of steel I'll just need to make two 3.34 plates for the sides and make a box...... I hope :D
