70 BRONCO FULL SIZE?

Post by Leadfoot »

I bin looking at a clapped out 78 bronco for 150 bucks and I am thinking of changing the body to the earlier year. The lower body is bad and the drive train is trashed.

So

With a clip change and some new rear quarter, and door skins of a 69/70. I should be able to turn a inny to a outty. :hmm:

My only question is what would a person do for the cowl. Would you need to replace the hole thing or would it be better to cut the center out. Im thinking it would look better if it matched the 70's hood. :hmm:

I'd thought about it before and I'd get a donor 67-72 cab, front clip and cut it after the doors and graft the 78-79 bronco rear to the older cab but reskin that. Doing it that way you get the interior of the bumpside.

let us know how it works out and the cost. Would be interesting to check and see what importing a Brazillion truck in would cost.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~
