I’ve been turning heads not just because these trucks are gorgeous but for the fumes mines been spewing. I finally found the crack in my old 2100 and have replaced it with a 2150. I’ve got some learning to do about all these new vacuum ports and now my original air housing won’t fit. The exhaust is also a bit gassy still. Now I’ve got some tuning to do but before I hit the books, I wanted to ask:
What modifications, if any have you found clean up emissions best on these trucks?
Should I just focus on tuning the carb?
Is it worth reinstalling the charcoal can? (I tried to find a way to open it without destroying it. No way I can find to refresh the charcoal inside)
Should I seek out a catalytic converter bandit?
Or am I just bound to stink up the place?

I’ve learned so much from this site. If you know of a thread that speaks to this best, sorry I missed it, could you point the way?
