Hi,
I have a 72 F100 and a fully driving 2004 Crown Vic with 90k on it.
The CV had a busted tie rod which messed up the steering geometry.
I only want the engine/tranny out of the CV then I'll scrap the rest.
I've been searching and all I come up with is folks swapping the entire frame and steering along with the motor into the F100 and not just the motor by itself.
What's all involved in swapping only the motor/tranny?
My goal is easy starts with fuel injection and low highway cruising RPM with the overdrive.
Thanks
