1979 F250 Extended cab

Post by u267829 »

Hey,

Just a quick question. Where is the hazard light witch on a 1979 F250 Extended cab. I think it is the directional switch/lever. Is that correct? if it is, do you pull the directional lever back to the driver to turn the hazard lights?

Thanks for you help

Is that a dent side?

I do not think it is the directional, but can’t help beyond that.

Pulling back on the turn signal lever would be for tilting the column up and down if it had the capability to do so. The hazard flasher switch is a stub sticking out of the steering column on the right side at about the 4 o'clock position. It is a push pull switch, you pull it out to turn the 4-ways on and push in towards the column to turn off.
