Header/Exhaust question

Post by Elf »

Having a ‘68 F100 fitted with a Crown Vic front end. Since we have the complete P71, decided to drop in the 4.6 2V and tranny. My question: Is there a header that will fit while retaining all the original frame cross members? If not, what are the best options?
First post, so thanks in advance for the help.

Don't know anything about your question but glad you joined! :wel: from Georgia! Stop by the Welcome Mat, introduce yourself, and tell us about your truck. Sounds like a great project! http://www.fordification.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=1

Thanks for the welcome. Not really a project, just a pile of parts and some questions right now. I know most people don’t use a 4.6, but if it had been done, someone here would know about it. Looks like Kooks and BBK have headers, I’m just worried about steering shaft and frame cross member interference.
