Hi guys,
I cannot find anything about a D3TA-8146-BA or D3TZ-8146-A numbered fan shroud. I only find postings about D3TZ-8146-C, which should be the right one for my purposes. But whats with D3TZ-8146-A numbered shroud - it is said that it would fit a 360/390 also but from 72-76. Would it fit a 1970 390 too? What stands the "A" at the end for?
Thanks,
Tim
Would a D3TZ-8146-A fan shroud fit a 1970 F-250 w/ 360 engine?

Hi,
First off, which radiator do you have?
There were 2 radiator sizes used on this era truck.
"Super cool" which has a core of roughly 24 x 26 inches and 4 cores. It mounts on a special "Super Cool" radiator support. This support has 2 brackets on the engine side that the radiator bolts to. It uses shroud numbered C7TZ-8146-B.
All non Super Cool radiators are 26 x19 inch 3 cores units that mount directly to the rear of the Radiator support.

Lee,
that is right you mentioned it, sorry for not bringing it up.
I have the standard radiator, but not the original one, it is a Spectra Premium CU433.
Its measurements are
Height
19-1/4 In.
Width
25-1/8 In.
Thickness
1-1/4 In.
It is only a one core unit - seems that somebody did an economical replacement. But it does the job...
