We've deciphered the data plate on our 1970 F250 explorer - camper special.
Everything was easy to determine, except for the body code, "7 4"
I know 4 is style-side. But what's the 7? I've looked here, and not found that number alone: https://www.fordification.com/tech/VIN70.htm
On another site, I found something saying 7 = captain's chairs. This truck has what appear to be aftermarket bucket/split bench seats. Considering they're supported by wooden blocks, I'm pretty sure these aren't original, and I thought captain's seats swiveled. Not possible in a truck.
thoughts?
1970 body code "7 4" What's the 7?

You sure its a 70 and not a 71?
on a 71 "7" = Explorer Green
on a 71 "7" = Explorer Green
