Greeting from Portland, OR
I picked-up a 1969 F100 from an estate sale. So far we've got the brakes and brake cylinder up to snuff; replaced a u-joint; rebuilt the 2-barrel carb (fail, still runs too lean); fixed horn; fixed heater & defrost cables; installed iPhone adapter to original AM radio; removed auxiliary fuel tanks; removed tow bumper; removed tow mirrors & installed "sport" mirrors.
Low-budget plans: replace exhaust; replace floor boards; replace right cab mount; 4-barrell set-up; lower about 4" in rear and 2" in front"; rear roll-pan; replace headliner; replace bench seat cover; replace wheels/tires....wait, did I say "low-budget"?

Cool looking color scheme. Go through the choke setting procedures a couple times and the lean running should be taken care of. Also make sure the heat tube and stock air filter housing and exhaust riser are working in the winter. Makes a huge difference in drive ability.

Will do what we can. The stock parts (heat tube and air filter housing) are gone. Thanks for the suggestions. AJ

1/4" copper line wrapped around the exhaust works very well for the heat tube. BTDT.

We removed the helper springs, did the half-flip with 6 degree shims and new rear shocks. Slightly less than a 4" drop...but still have on the tall tires on 16" rims. Ride is soooo much quieter without all that helper spring hardware rattling around.
