Just thought that I'd pass on one of those "that's strange" moments. It was time for my 1,000 mile oil change (1,000 miles after the rebuild; I don't spoil her THAT much on a regular basis). After a bunch of reading on the internet, I decided to try Valvoline VR-1 10W30 synthetic racing oil, mostly because of the zinc contents. No, I don’t want to start an oil war. I just want to say that I was really surprised that it came out blue!
First time I've tried an oil that comes in boutique colors. How millennial of them!

It kind of threw me back: "Oh, crap! What did I just pour into my engine?!?"
