Cleaning aluminum trim and grille

Hello guys and gals. Just checking to see the best way to clean up all my aluminum trim or what kind of products work you've found that work. Mine seem to have a coating on them or for some reason polish doesn't work too well. Thanks in advance

The coating is called anodizing. It protects the aluminum from the elements. You have to get that off first. Here's a fordification link. http://fordification.com/tech/polishing-trim.htm
