Proud new owner of a 1971 F100, 2wd, 302/ 3 Spd OD equipped longbed Sport Custom. I believe I am the second owner. The previous owner passed away and I have become this truck's keeper.
As a longtime Mustang owner (currently three Fox body Mustangs) I am coming from vehicles which have a huge and competitive aftermarket and restoration industry. It has taken a bit of digging to find info on my truck and a lot of it has been gleaned from this site, so I decided it was only right to try and contribute where I can as I rebuild my 'new' truck.
The truck is currently in nice driver condition, and I look forward to a mechanical rebuild of the sorely worn out suspension and brakes. I'm going for a farm-fresh looking reliable truck to do truck things with it.
