Which wheels do you like??
I'm trying to figure out which set of wheels to go with on my 68 F100.
Take a look at the picture below and let me know if you have a preference. You can enter your response in the Poll attached to this post, or give me hell for changing it from stock, either way...!!
I'm looking at doing 20" x 9" wheels on all four corners. Once I get the truck and take some measurements I be able to determine if they'll fit!!
Thanks!!

I voted 4, for best looking 20s. For your truck, I would leave them stock. I know its hard for me to take parts off of an all orignal truck and just throw them away. Or sell them. Unless the part is bad, I dont like changing it. They have been with the truck for 38 years now. If I had I new car I would change them out, and put 20s on it in a heart beat.

re: Which wheels do you like??
To be honest with you, I don't really care for any of those either. Those might look OK on a riceburner, but for a vintage truck they just don't look right, especially if the rest of the truck appears mostly stock. I think when you look at a vehicle, you should think "nice pickup", not "nice wheels on that pickup".
I'd have to use something that looks more period and matches the truck....like Cragar SS, TorqueThrusts or wide aluminum slots.

I voted for #4, only because they have a more classic 5 spoke design, but I prefer the more vintage look of the 18" Torquethrust's.

I don't like any of those. Cragar SS look best as 15-17" rims.
I like these...(but not for the $$$$!)

re: Which wheels do you like??
Im not saying 20s dont look good. I like them on marz 68 truck, it just depends on what kind of truck you have. I think it would look good on your truck, but yours appears to be virgin all original truck. There is some pride in that. My truck was not all original, so I changed some stuff and did not feel to bad. Also, I like cragers but they seem to small. I would want something that fills the wheel well a bit. But it doesnt matter what most of us think. It is your truck, and you can do what you want with it.
