I've never made a post and recently started to lurk. This is my 1969 F100. I bought this last March out by my fathers house in Red Bluff Ca. I saw this on Craigslist a few days before I flew out there for vacation. I called guy who happened to live a half mile from my dad. I was the first one to call him and got talking with him. He was the second owner of the truck and owned it for 20 plus years. Its been a California truck its whole life. I sent my dad over there and he bought it for what he was asking for it. The guys phone was ringing off the hook while my dad was there. It was the best $1500 I have ever spent. I live in Wisconsin and we don't find stuff this old and this clean back here. I have left the truck out by my dads all year and am shipping the truck back next month. I have a lot of ideas for it and been checking out the forum for more. This truck has one paint job on it. I would like to get it switched back to the original green color.
