Just bought a '67 F100. Now I'm here...
Hey all,
Just checking in from Long Island, New York. I'm the new proud owner of an F100 that I picked up from New Jersey over the weekend.
My truck is a 1967 F100 longbed with an inline six and a three-speed on the column. It's in decent shape (well, great shape for the North East where rot-boxes are the norm) and it runs and drives. I wanted something I could drive while fixing up, and this one fit the bill. With the help of the VIN Decoder on this site, I was able to find out that the truck was produced in November of 1966 and came from the Kansas City plant. Original paint scheme was Wimbledon White and Harbor Blue. This appears to be the current paint scheme on the truck, albeit a repaint.
I eventually plan on doing a CV swap and when the six comes out to do it, I don't think it'll be going back in.
When I started looking for an F100, I was directed back to this site and it's related forum threads time and time again, which leads me to believe that is the most comprehensive collection of info on these particular Ford trucks. I'm looking forward to learning a lot (I already have) and will post up some pictures when I can.

Re: Just bought a '67 F100. Now I'm here...
Hey, thanks all.
Unfortunately, I've been a bit under the weather so I haven't had time to work on the truck at all. It's brand new (to me) so it's killing me that I can't start cleaning it up. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow and will be able to get started. When I do, I'll snap some pics.
