2nd time F-100 owner.

Post by TexSixNiner »

Hello everyone. My name is Travis and I live in Willis, TX just north of Houston. My first vehicle was a 69 F-100 long bed with a 302 that my dad bought when I started kindergarten. I was recently given my 2nd 69 F-100 by my sons as a 50th birthday present. This one is a SWB Ranger with a 360 and NP-435 tranny. Current plans are a 460 built by Nickens Brothers Racing in Conroe backed by a C-6, '79 disc brakes, power steering, and AC. I just joined this website but have been trolling for info here for the last few months. Looking forward to sucking lots of knowledge from everyone in the future. Meet Bessie Jr. Image

Looks pretty solid from what I can see. Maybe it's just the angle of the photo, but from your first photo it doesn't look like the rear wheels are centered in the wheel wells. :wel:

Flyboy, I suppose anything is possible. As we have started taking things apart we have found some less than superior workmanship. The rear has had the shackles relocated. I will have to check it out.
