Just purchased a 69 F100 Ranger long bed. Was my friend's father's truck since 1988 (second owner). No rot/rust, 360ci with 3 on the tree, power steering and factory air. A few dings here and there, some missing trim, it was used as a truck to haul firewood, mulch, etc. Looking to keep it original, clean up some things that need attention. Been driving every day to work instead of my 2004 F150 to get used to her, run some clean gas through, etc. So far, so good, runs great - no leaks, a few creaks. The thing I love the most is how many looks I get, thumbs up, etc. I also can't believe how many people have old truck stories to tell.
Anyway, glad to have found this forum to find out where to get parts from, what to look for, and how to fix things.
