390 fender emblem

What years did the 390 emblem go on? Was it a specific trim package or just if it had a 390? I have a 69 f100 Ranger that originally had a 360 that I made into a 390 and I am thinking about putting these on. Where exactly are they supposed to go on the fender? My current fenders do not have any holes in them where they would go, because it didn't have a 390 in it. Or if they even put those emblems on the Ranger model, I am unsure. Could someone clarify this for me.

According to the tech article here: http://www.fordification.com/tech/trim.htm All 68-69 bumpsides with a 390 got the 390 emblem regardless of trim package (look under "other emblems").

Here is a picture of the 390 emblems in the proper location. The fenders were stock to my 69 crew which had a 390 stock and the emblems have never been off. We put a 390 in my buddies 67 and since I now have a 460, we swapped fenders. There is also a 390 emblem pictured in the tech articles as well (with a camper special emblem next to it).
