Hello all. I have always had a thing for bumps since I lost my 72 Sports Custom to a thief in Atlanta, GA. I am in the Air Force and originally from GA, but have lived in the midwest for the last 14 yrs so finding one in good shape is hard to do. I finally came across a 70 F250, but rust is its best friend. Bought it for $700 so that isn't really a problem. It has a 390FE with 4 spd manual runs and drives like a beast. My plans after fixing all the rust are to install crown vic IFS, scrapping the dana 60 for either 8.8 or 9 inch with an axle flip, cutting out 16" from the frame and making it an F250 SWB. I plan to post plenty of pics as I remember to take them. The information from this site has helped me so much in my preparation of this resto, just hope I can contribute to someone else down the line.
