New Father-Son Project 1969 F100

Post by clifdog »

Its a bit of a frankenstein at the moment. It has the stock 360 in it, but the previous owner had it bored out to a 390. No clue why but anyway. Put a new(r) bed on it same year that isn't rusted out. It looks like a hodge podge of colors and needs some love. My son and I are going to bring it back and make it shine. It is going to be his ride when he hits 16 in 4 years. So he's pumped and I'm pumped.

We got into the truck cheap so that was good. We're replacing the carb this weekend and putting on a new air cleaner. It isn't running but should be after the carb is installed. We're hoping.

Glad there is a knowledgeable place I can go and ask questions. Trust me I have tons. We're going to take it slow and do it our way. Won't be totally stock but won't be tricked out either. It'll be ours.
