Hi, guys! My name is Daren. I am the proud owner of three Ford Pick up trucks: When I was 14 my dad gave me a serious project truck: a 1934 pickup (as yet unfinished--just started to actually work on it about 6 years ago); A 1956 F-100, which I inherited from my father upon his death last year (a very special truck, as it was purchased brand new by my grandfather in 1955!) And then just today I completed a deal for a nice 1970 F-250, which I intend to fix up and turn into a nice, clean daily driver for my wife and I. I'm an English teacher by trade, and nowhere NEAR as handy with cars as my late father, but that's why I'm here. If my education has taught me anything, its that I will learn a "3/4 ton" by just getting on a board like this one and start snooping around. Glad to be here!

1934 Ford Pickup (street rod-project phase)
1956 F-100, 351 w (generally stock, running fine. In the family since 1955!)
1965 Ford Falcon Sprint, 289, 9" rear end, 5 speed manual trans. (a great driver)
1970 F-250 Camper special. 360, C-6, (Running good, but ready for a makeover)
