I just bout this 1967 f100 ranger and trying to find the original color but the color code isn't listed on the vin tag...Below is whats on the vin tag if someone can help me with color. Its bronze now but looks like its white underneath the bronze paint like the bronze was just a repaint....

Are your sure ya listed everything? If the color code is blank, that usually means it was a special order color.

Ford's OEM code for their white was M which is Wimbledon White

Yes very sure. On the pic of the vin tag you posted where it says "color", that doesn't exist on my tag. The word "color" and the code just isn't there :(

Wow. That's strange...

If it's not Wimbledon White, try comparing it to all paint offered by Ford, Lincoln, & Mercury for 66 and 67. Sometimes folks special ordered colors from the other lines. However, don't be surprised if it is not an OEM color... there are quite a few early Mustangs with off-colors like Mack orange and metallics from the Lincoln line. Unlike today, most anything oddity could be special-ordered. For example, I've seen a metallic gold 69 Chevelle SS 396 ordered with a green interior :eek: ... the original owner was a Packer fan.
