I'm building a 68 step side and i bought a box that the previous owner did not know what it came off of. The top of the side rails are flat not the traditional 45degree angle I've seen on every other step side box. also the dimensions are 2 inches bigger all the way around..wider , higher, deeper, longer. I put it on the truck and had to move some braces and add 2 inches to the frame rail ends but it looks pretty good.I put a wider 77 rear end in so it centers the tires up pretty nice. SO, anybody know what i've got and has anybody used one on their bump? If so...problems?
Thanks

I do not remember what the year was but Ford changed from the angled rail to a flat top rail. Sounds like you may have a dent bed.

Beds changed in 1973 to longer and wider with flat top instead of angled.

LOL, Hopefully it's not a Chevy or GMC bed. Just joking,it's probably off of a dent.
