68 ford ranger newbie...
Hello there, I'm new on this and excited to have lots of knowledge available on here. I have a 68 shortbed (flare side) I've dropped a 302 in it and converted over to automatic with a C6 tranny, Edelbrock carb and intake, I have several issues with it as I'm learning still. One being the passing gear cable not hooked up, I'm thinking maybe a transmission shop would help out?? As of right now I'm in the process of converting front drums to disc brakes but looking to install off other truck, I'm told a 72 model should adapt? Also plan on installing dropped I Beams as well..any suggestions? Something affordable yet reliable? Looking forward to learning from you guys....

Welcome! As far as the disc brake swap goes, there is a very informative article in the tech/tutorial section. I plan to convert my '67 this summer.
