Bought the Ford hood letters but need some clips.

Did you try the plastic inserts from 78-79 trucks? They are used on the cowl side emblems as well as the hood letters, so availability is usually good.

Type "barrel nuts" in most any restoration catalog. Mustangs unlimited has them but not sure of the size. They come in different lengths and diameters. Got mine for my truck at Automotive Paint Specialties in Beaver Falls PA. They had them on the shelf.

Are you talking about the barrel nuts for the 70-72 letters, or the inserts for the 67-69 letters? If it is the 67-69 letters you have and are looking for the inserts, I will keep reading to see who can throw a solution at you. I am going to be needing a set myself here pretty soon.

I found them new at a automotive paint supply store in their hardware section.
I took one of my good used barrel clips with me for sizing.
Be prepared to buy way more than you need as some stores already have them packaged in large quantities like 25 pieces.
