1969 Ford F250 "hi boy"

Post by karlatteberry »

My father recently gave me the 1969 Ford F250 that I grew up with. He had it completely repainted prior to handing me the keys (what a dad!!). I have been working on it every free weekend I have and believe it is now ready for its big first weekend pulling my 2008 Malibu Wakesetter up to the lake for Memorial day weekend. Shortly after my father bought this he swapped out the original 360 and dropped in a 429 cobra jet engine.

Ask your dad if he will adopt me. I already have a truck, just need paint and a 429

Thanks for the welcomes!! Also forgot to add that the truck only has 131,000 original miles on it - so not bad for a '69. I pulled the boat with it for the first time last weekend to go get soem service - attached is a photo. Unfortunately - the boat and truck "clash" a bit - but I'm sure not going to complain!!
