NEW WEBPAGE: Forum reference photo gallery
I killed a little time this afternoon putting together something that I think will be a great help to those of you who are helping to answer questions on the forums. Often a picture will be posted to help with the visual, but trying to remember where you saw that photo in a previous post is pretty hard sometimes. Therefore, I've decided to put together a thumbnail photo gallery of the technical reference photos that have been used when answering some posts in the past. This should help out quite a bit.
I know the first thing somebody's going to ask me is if there's a way to also include a link to the forum thread in which the photo was used. No, sorry....that would be just TOO much work. I'm afraid you'll just have to use the forum's search feature for that.
Anyway, the page as posted this evening only includes the pictures I've posted myself. As time allows, I'll be browsing through the attachments made to posts from others and try to find those which will help out with answering technical-type questions, and I'll add those pictures to this page as well. But I think for now it's a good start.
So go ahead and take a look and let me know what you think, if there's something that would make this better. I'll be adding a link to this page to the top of the forum so it'll be easily referenced when surfing the forum.

Way to go. And I was just thinking this side couldn't be made any better and then you go and add something again.

re: NEW WEBPAGE: Forum reference photo gallery
Thanks everyone! I'm glad you all think this is something you'll use. It's something I've been wanting to add for a while now, since I know it'll sure help me when I'm answering questions.
I've just added a link to it up in the far upper-right corner of the forum pages, so the new Reference Gallery will be easily accessible whenever you're surfing the forum, and can be referred to when answering posts. Hopefully over the next few evenings I'll get started browsing the attachments from other users and will find and add more photos to the Reference Gallery.

re: NEW WEBPAGE: Forum reference photo gallery
I really like this addition, Keith. As long as we are on the subject of photos, how about a guideline for sizing of our photos. I see the maximum size is 250K but what is your preference in pixels and in file size? Thanks.
