i have a NOS underdash unit for sale. says FORD CUSTOM on the unit. it is approximately 30 inches long and does not extend all the way under the steering column as the one in your pic. includes brackets, diagram etc. and box. send me an email or pm with your email address and i'll send you some pics.

It's close, but it's not the one. The one in the OP has a Ford emblem on it, and the knobs are in a different spot.

I'm still angry..

I sold a '71 to a guy a year ago that had a perfect factory A/C unit in it. He said he probably just wanted the engine, I told him if he didn't want the truck I'd buy back the A/C as it was fairly rare.

I found out a month ago the guy scrapped the whole truck after he pulled the engine.

Perfect body, perfect box, everything. There was NO rust anywhere!

:x :x

Sorry to hijack your thread, I'm just still mad!! lol

Now I'm mad with ya  I hate to see these old trucks being used for scrap if they're that nice but I'm sure we all have some sort of story like that, hell, I scrapped a nomad back in the day :x Still wanting one of these if anybody has one for sale :fr:
