Just like a shiny new penny...
Have any of you ever thought about copper plating a 67-69 Grill? I found a place that would do it, but not for any reasonable price. So is the originality worth the extra money? I think it would look extremly awesome with red or green paint. Maybe with some select oxidation in places... But I dont know if its even possible, they say people copper plate alot of things, but that they never have, not even once. What do yall think?

Upkeep would probably be a real chore. It would be a battle to keep that green patina from taking over.

That would look cool. I would like to see a grille that is black chromed. I would like to do that some day, but not with the 71 or 72 I have now.

Hmm gold trim is a little too gangsta for me. It seems to be the choise color on a lot of the booming caddies I've seen go by.crazyace99million wrote:could get it 24k gold plated, would look nice, but someone might steel your grille.
