I'm Joe Hoffman. I've owned my truck now for about 7 years but nothing has gotten done until recently.
Last year or so I bought A 2wd 72 ranger with a blown engine in order to swap the body parts for my pretty well rusted and dented 4x4 body.
My 72 4x4 is a stick shift with a 460 out of a 1978 mercury marquis. previously Green I painted it black and silver.
During the last year I have swapped the body, painted the truck, upgraded to power steering, painted the interior, added carpet, applied a roll on bed liner, and replaced the windshield rubber.
I am by no means an expert but I have learned a lot. The only experience I had previously with paint was with guitar building. I've been okay with paint application, but body work still leaves much to be desired.
