New to Fords with a '69 F250!

Post by robbkramer »

Hello all; just about to purchase a 69 F250 4x2 I've had my eye on for the last three months; I've had it at the house for the last two days crawling around to see what's what—new to Ford trucks but I love all the oldies; this one just seemed to have my name on it. I'll post some pics tomorrow; big Caribbean Turquoise beastie with not too many issues to set right.

I hope to glean a lot of insight here on how to get this truck back to OE condition!

Glad to have found this site!

Thanks! . . . I'm having quite a bit of fun so far. Will be sending the carb out for a rebuild this weekend then I have to tear into the brakes. Even with those issues, I can't help but drive it around. :D

I agree; this truck won't get off easy as we have horses! Sure, it will get more attention, but I expect it to earn it's keep and I need the grunt power!
