1967 f100 4x4 welcome home

I've just recently purchased a 67 f100 4x4 with a 352. I'm getting about 1200 miles per gallon (of oil)...she leaks like a dawg. back of the intake manifold it appears. When I fix that would any one have any recommendations about fixing a little lifter ticking at the same time? Also I will need a/c Here in Phoenix, any advice???

Welcome from North Carolina, if you get the chance ask your questions in the forum catagory that fits it best. Most of the big brain/folks with knollege tend to read those spots more than the welcome spot. :)

Couple of choices on the A/C for our trucks: (1)Go new efficient 134A refrigerant or (2)Scrounge for all the used parts, (getting hard to find) and convert one of the existing used factory R-12 systems over to 134A refrigerant. :thup:

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!
Many Ford bumps / one 76' EB / and several dents through the years.
A lot of "oddball" Ford parts collected from working on them for 34 years now!
