Newby from the East Bay
Hey everybody! I am a 3rd generation owner of a 1968 F-250 Ranger Camper Special. The truck has been in my family since '68. The truck originally was 2WD with a 360 with 4 wheel drum brakes. Sometime in the 1970's my grandpa and uncle put a 390BB/C6 and power disc brakes on it. In the summer of 2002, my uncle and I put the '68 body on a '78 F-250 4WD frame and drivetrain. We pretty much went through the truck end-to end and either rebuilt or replaced everything.
It used to be my daily driver for a few years in college and now I only take it out on fishing and camping trips and the occasional trail. I have been poking my head around on this site for a few years and decided to join you all.

Welcome aboard from Northern Ca. Sounds like some good history in your truck.
