New from Chicago!
Hey everyone!
Tristan here. I currently work for a large coffee roaster here in City of Chicago and early next year will be opening a cafe & roastery of my own. Enough of that, though. Let's get to why I'm on here! I've got a safe, economical Honda, and a fun, spritely 1974 MG Midget. But something compeled me to go a different direction - so I bought this about a month ago. 1969 F100 with a yet unknown vintage 351m motor. I can't tell you how in love I am already. Something about these trucks!
Runs nicely, there's a couple things to address, but I don't think it's anything to painful. This website/forum has already been very useful. As well as my new but already worn LMC catalogue. If anyone's in Chicago and sees me cruising around, say Hi!
PS, anyone know of any mechanics in the city that know their way around old, carbureted engines? I'm pretty handy with a wrench but there's only so much work I'm going to be able to do in the parking garage!
