Recently resurected

Post by jbass020 »

Hey, I'm new to this forum stuff but figured I would give it a try.

A few months back I received a 68 F100 ranger from my dad. After literally dragging it out of the horse coral where it has been sitting for over ten years. I finally have it going. It may not be pretty but drives better than my 06 Dodge Dakota.

So far this is approximately the work done.

360 to 390 engine swap
New bearings/seals on engine
Edelbrock 1405 manual choke 600cfm
4 barrel junk yard find intake
Nice blue engine paint
4 core radiator
Input/output seals on C6 transition
Welded separated kickdown rod(inside transmition)
Transmition filter kit
Pinion seal
Flush/clean and fill both fuel tanks
Salvage less rotten tires out our the spake horse trailer

Prety good considering that it has over 140,000 miles and has not been registered since 81.
Btw I found the previous owners repair log. Interesting reading.

Now that I'm done with the rambling. Thanks for having me and I look forward to some good conversations.
