flex-o-matic vs std leaf
I am looking for more of a performance ride on my f100 short bed. I have aftermarket shocks and swaybars and progressive rate front springs. I replaced all the bushings with polly from energy. I am about to install a panhard bar in the rear and replace all the bushings. I dont care about the load or a soft ride. So whats a better option a std leaf pack or the flex-o-matic?

My experience is that the flex-o-matic rear leaf springs will give you a pretty good jolt when you're driving over a large dip and your truck's bed is empty. They're great for hauling a heavy load, but they're not a performance type rear suspension.
Go with the standard shackle rear leaf springs for performance and a smoother ride if that's your goal.
