I saw this truck today in New Braunfels on my way to look at a 1972 F100 SWB 360V8. I'll post photos of the '72 shortly.

Re: 1951 or '52 F100?
Good evening Dan,
What a prize photo that is. Was it computer-enhanced?
It's something about the way the gray hood paint, sprinkled with rust, combines with the similar colors and texture of the sky and clouds--I could look at a whole book full of photos like that!

It's a process of combining photos with different exposures called High Dynamic Range (HDR). This particular photo is actually 3 photos combined. I took a normal exposure and one stop darker and one stop lighter photo. The software has lots of settings you can change to "tweak" the image. I used Photomatix to make this image.

It's not my truck. I just saw it and took some photos of it. I don't know how much they want for it.

Man nice job on that photo! If I was to buy that truck I think I'd drive it just like it is. No new paint, just good mechanical stuff.

Re: 1951 or '52 F100?
They are virtually the same in appearance other than the hood trim and emblems. Just an FYI...the '48-'52 Fords are F1's. The F100 debuted in '53.

Here's a pic of the '51-'52 grille hanging in my living room!
