Wow, that's one hell of a...uh.....C-notch you got there!
What are your plans for suspension? IFS front? 4 link rear?

The c-notch really isnt that huge. I've got 6 inches on top clearance. Going with a IFS front, with a four link in rear.

Wow!! that looks good!!
That cross member on the c-notch will it clear the diff when aired out? because mine comes with in 1" from hitting.
Maybe your notch is longer? you should be fine then.
Are you going with bag over axle in the rear?

One thing I would change on my front crossmember is to move it a few more inches higher. By moving it higher it gives the steering tie rods more room to move with out them rubbing on the frame when aired out.
The way I have it now the rubber boots from the rack rub on the frame even with the small notch I put in it.
The good thing about leaving it how it is is that you motor can sit lower and less cutting is needed on the cab.

Speaking of bagged suspension...here are some pics of a custom "from scratch" Chevy frame that my buddy Mark designed and is building for another friend of mine, Steve.
Everything you see on the frame, except the air shocks was fabricated by Mark Bohlen.

The horizontal shocks and suspension linkage allows for a lot of drop without a lot of notch height.
