Steering me in the right direction

Post by Fordman5 »

I need some advice from all you. I am looking to change out my steering column with a tilt wheel as for forth. I want to find one that takes limited custom work, and does not cost an arm and leg. Pics would be helpfull as well if you have them. Thanks all. Oh yea I have a 67 bump manual steering, but I am not going to to power steering though, to much to go wrong for a simple guy like me. Any ideas will be helpful to me, thank you all :fr:

Running a tilt on a manual steering truck is a disaster waiting to happen which is why Ford never offered it as an option on the big vehicles. Tilt components are actually pretty fragile and they break even on PS vehicles that have significantly lower steering loads. Hawkrod
