I have an opportunity to buy a rolling chassis from a 71 F100 2wd, 9" rear for $100.00 ...I want to convert my 69 F250 to 5 lug and be able to use dream beams.
Although the F100 is drum brakes and my F250 has disk brakes, can I bolt up disk rotors to the new spindles off the F100 so I can keep the front disk's?
F250 to F100 front brake question.

you will need the calipers and disc brake stuff from a dentside in order to sawp to a 5 lug disc setup.

Ok...so I can bolt up the disk brake stuff to the spindles that now have drum brake on them....please excuse my ignorance, just trying to make sure I can accomplish what I want to do.

Re: F250 to F100 front brake question.
i think repeat i think yo ucan just remove your rotor and brake caliper holder from your current F250 spindles and put the rotor and brake caliper brackets on from a dentside. no need to use the drum brake spindles or any of that from the drum brake setup.
