finally gettin started

i found a donor '69 f 250 C/S that im going to pull the 300ci I6 and 4speed trany out of and install in my 68 f100 which currently has a 360. i plan on building the 360 into a mild 390. i figure the 390 build will keep me busy this winter between hunting and school. i just hope ill have my 68 running before next summer. if anyone has some pointers on the conversion im all ears or eyes or however you would state it on the forum.

why is it that when ever you think you have things figured out something always has to mess with your plans. i fell short of buying the 69 cs (waiting on uncle sam to give me the money he owes me)

i have decided to just rewire my truck head to tail and tune up the 360ci for now. so the next few days i have off i am going to start gutting the old wire harness and get it ready for a new ez wiring harness.

im also going to change out my ignition system but i havent decided on brand.

started rewiring the truck about a month ago. i have the entire front section completed now and will finish the tail lights this week on my off time from school. then i hope to finish the dash this weekend and be either trouble shooting issues or driving it around by the 2nd week of February . after that i hope to be able to put on an electronic ignition system but i might have to wait to complete that after i finish the move to Fairbanks AK, but that is another story in its self.
